Welcome to The Supermodel Society — a faith-centered platform celebrating purpose, style, and leadership. Here, beauty is more than appearance; it’s how we live, serve, and inspire others.

Meet the Founder

Dr. JerMara Davis Welch is an accomplished educator, instructional designer, author, and entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in education—spanning classroom teaching, program leadership, curriculum development, and instructional design.

Her career has included serving as a classroom teacher, teacher educator, and supervisor, as well as holding leadership as Assistant Dean and Director of Teacher Education at the University of California, Riverside (UCR). Today, she continues to shape the field both as a Lead Instructional Designer and as the founder of Bluu Publishing, a boutique consultancy dedicated to partnering with subject matter experts, organizations, and content creators to design engaging online courses and high-quality curricula. Quality Matters certified, she brings a depth of expertise in online learning and course design to every project she undertakes—ensuring both rigor and impact.

As a former commercial print model, JerMara experienced firsthand the beauty and challenges of the fashion industry. While her passion for style and beauty remains strong, she also recognized that being a “supermodel” is about more than image—it is about being an example of how to live.

For JerMara, a true Supermodel is not defined solely by appearance but by character, purpose, and service—beginning with devotion to The Most High and extending to how we treat our fellow man.

This conviction led her to found The Supermodel Society, a platform that celebrates beauty in action and empowers others to shine through faith, purpose, and service.

JerMara’s work reflects her passion for faith, entrepreneurship, and personal growth. She is the author of High Value: The Prayer of a Queen, a book on Esther blending scholarly insight with spiritual encouragement, and the creator of Embark: Charting Your Course to Entrepreneurship—a curriculum series equipping teens with practical business skills.

JerMara earned her Ph.D. in Teaching and Teacher Education from the University of Arizona in 2015. She also holds a Master of Arts in Education from Azusa Pacific University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications (Public Relations) from California State University, Fullerton.

A native of Southern California, JerMara now resides in Texas with her husband and two children. She is committed to empowering others to live with excellence, walk in their God-given purpose, and become true Supermodels—those who reflect the light of God through their faith, work, and service.
